I am inspired to write today about an area close to my heart. I guess with this blog I will write more of a personal nature as I wish to help those on a similar path or those going through some personal challenges. Today's topic is inspired by a lovely friend, you know who you are, so will not mention names. She is on her third trimester and has had a few scares along the way, like most of first timers, pregnancy itself is an amazing and yet at times scary experience, if your mind has wanted this so much and your body is transforming sometimes there are issues that need to be resolved. Our bodies are designed to have children to expand and carry them. If you always had a size 10 figure and enjoyed looking manicured and confident, pregnancy can slow you down and make you feel less desirable. I hear you sister!
Yet this is the most natural thing in the world. And pregnant women do look radiant, full of life, sexy and incredibly confident! Just choose which one you are going to be. So visualise your outcome, your body being how you want it to be, sure be kind to it and allow yourself to relax into your new form. Fears are natural after all you haven't done this before, just trust others and trust your body. This is the perfect time to spend time on mental calmness, grounding yourself and preparing for the ultimate end, meeting your little baby. Visualise it going well and not just on the actual birth, visualise you bathing her, holding her, taking her home, and also if you are going to breastfeed, then visualise that too.
It is amazing how the mind works and if you have decided that this is how it will go, and it doesn't go to plan then that is ok, you have put it out there, and you let go and trust that you are in good hands. The moment you birth your child your life will never be the same again, you are a parent for life.
And let me say it is the most rewarding and wonderful experience I have ever known.
Keep yourself centred, grounded, calm and soon enough this little being will be looking at you in total amazement.
Visualise Your Outcome
