Next Move

Just spoken to a client this morning, he is looking at reinventing himself with respect to his career. Never too late I say, anyway he wanted to see a clear path to the next bridge. Unfortunately when we want to make the 'right' decision the path is not always highlighted for us, we need to discover it amongst the trees and bushes. We need to come to some self awareness and realisation of where we consciously want to head into.

Clarifying and understanding our core values is the first step. Every decision we make is like a piece on the chess board, as the next move impacts the entire picture of the outcome. We sometimes don't know where this will lead us only that we need to make a move.

That is why coaching is so powerful, we commit to that first step, then another light shines in our path to walk us to the next opportunity which leads to action and more awareness. Naturally you are navigated by your values, so if an opportunity came that was in some way conflicting to what you value, then you need to say "no thanks" I am heading this way..

In life there are no guarantees, just many lessons to be learnt along the way, understanding and getting what we need to get so we can move forward more confidently and with volition.
