Vitamins for the Mind


We are habitual beings, having regular routines for about almost everything. We don't even notice when these routines are not serving us as we just keep on these programs.

In the mornings what program are you running?
Or does the program run You?

Does your routine go something like this:


  • Alarm snooze for 10 mins


  • Rush into the shower


  • Figure out what to wear


  • Quick rushed breakfast if I have the time


  • Pack or make lunch, snacks


  • Brush teeth


  • RUN out the door...
How would you prefer start you day, with more time perhaps? Well you need to run a different program for that, you need to consciously do something different. Prepare for the day ahead. This includes doing a mental list of what needs to happen so you can leave the house on time and be relaxed in the process.



Prepare your lunch the night before, organise your clothes and have your bag almost ready. Also include having breakfast this is important. I know people that once they wake up they lie there visualising the day ahead and doing the mental preparation, then when 5 mins is up they get on with it without the frustration and the stress.

Some even do 15 minutes meditation and get into their day slowly and mindfully.

It is that simple, so tomorrow what program will YOU run?
